If after the octopus of Santa Luzia and Barril Beach still have energy, you can return to your bike, pass the village of Pedras del Rei, always going up and to your left there is a sign of Ecovia (Eurovelo 1). Enter this fantastic way for bikes and cycle towards Aires Tower, Islamic tower of crucial importance for military vigils.
You will enjoy some spectacular views to your left, at sea and the Natural Park Ria Formosa, a completely rural surroundings.
Fuzeta and Olhão: If you still come across to Fuzeta, already belongs to the municipality of Olhão, Faro district.
This village is very picturesque and also has access by boat, to its fantastic island.

Another very picturesque town in the Algarve.
Right across from the boat boarding pier, has a promenade lined with restaurants and bars where gastronomy is the queen.
You can also visit the old market of Olhão, dating back to 1866. This would be worth a visit as it is the only open-air market in the Algarve. Saturday mornings you can enjoy fish and vegetable markets where the sounds, the smells and the colors reign. You will not regret! We promise!
You can leave the bike at the berth, take the boat and visit the island of Armona, belonging to the Ria Formosa. One of Nature Entertainment and protected species.
Note: Olhão and Fuzeta have train stations in the direction to Tavira. If you want to come back with the bike on the train, free service, it is possible.
