Customers should read and sign the terms of use before rent.
Our bicycles are delivered to the customer in perfect condition.
With the rent we provide free padlocks.
The use of a helmet is advisable. Customers under 18 must always wear helmet. The contract for customers under 18 must be signed by parents or legal representative.
During the period of rent, customers are responsible for all damages, partial or total, of the bicycles, including robbery. In case of robbery, the amount to be paid will be established by the class of the rented bike.
The travel assistance (trip to the premises, workforce) is free within 5 km of the premises of Abilio Bikes. Within a range farther than 5 Km and less than 30 Km to the facilities of Abílio Bikes, the travel assistance will have a cost for the customer of €1 per km traveled. For a range further than 30 km from the premises of Abilio Bikes, the customer shall, in case of damage, immediately contact Abilio Bikes so that it can expeditiously find a point as close as possible to the client, who is responsible to move there at their own expense. The travel assistance only works in the period between 9h30 am and 6pm, from Monday to Saturday.
Deposits: Also, when signing the contract, the client must leave, in cash, the amount of € 20 per bike as a deposit in case of rental bicycles City, Comfort, Mountain biking 29 and Child, for MTB 29 PRO it is € 50, € 100 for the Carbon Road Bike, Gravel Bike and same value for E-Bike, 200€ for E-MTB which will be refunded upon delivery / collection of the bicycle and / or accessories as long as they are in the same condition in which they were collected / delivered.
Customers also have to present a valid personal identification (Citizen Card, driver's license, ID, passport, etc…).
Customers should strictly obey traffic rules and have caution in the use of the bicycle, which can only be used in Continental Portugal.
Abílio Bikes does not take responsibility for any accidents caused from improper use of the bicycles.

The bike rental includes for the customer, first of all, the insurance coverage under a policy of the Company Tranquilidade No. 000 382 0225 subscribed by Abílio Bikes. This policy has adeductible of 250€, in cases that when happen an accident that the client has the responsibility he always have to pay de payment as maximum 250€, that is also included the price for the bike repair. All accidents must be reported immediately to Abilio Bikes. This way we can contact with our bicycle insurance.
