Trek= Less plastic

In order to face the growing pollution of plastic waste, all Trek installations will be free from landfill waste, we will eliminate all plastics from our bicycle transport boxes and our accessory packaging will cease to be single-use plastic until 2024.

 As part of our commitment to eliminate single-use plastics and excess waste in our packaging supply chain, Trek joins the Responsible Packaging Movement led by the prAna clothing brand. The movement is formed by a group of brands that share the same ideal and that use their position to face the problem of massive amounts of plastic waste in Earth's oceans. Together, they seek to create a world where there is less plastic.

 

Perhaps the Movement's greatest benefit is the shared index of alternatives to plastic that other members perceived to cause a positive change in the environment without sacrificing product protection. This organized list of solutions for plastic waste will have a tremendous influence on our progress in removing plastics from Trek and Bontrager packaging.
